..in Hong Kong, that is. I recently delved back into the Hong Kong music scene and picked up on several new bands that are bringing back the band sound in HK!
I think since the era of Beyond, HK has been in a serious drought of band sound, not because there aren’t any bands in Hong Kong, but just no record company willing to give them a chance to market their music to the public. Fortunately, there’s been a turn in the tides in recent years, and it has brought in Zarahn, Wildchild, Dear Jane, RubberBand, and Mr to revive this legendary genre of music!
So tonight, Wildchild with the sponsorship of Puma, are putting together a battle of the bands to bring back rock! 搖滾復活!
Obviously, being halfway around the world, I won’t be able to attend, but thought I’d give a bit of a taste of what HK band sound is like…

I’m not sure what shop this was from, but oddly enough I remember seeing it in Sham Shui Po(Shrugs).
Reminiscing Hong Kong.. I miss it so much! So I decided to rummage out some of my photos from last year’s Hong Kong trip. However, upon searching for said photos, I couldn’t find over half of them!
Yes.. I not only have a long history of losing things physically, but digitally as well, sigh.. But what can be done? Sniff, though then again it does give me an excuse to visit again next year, but at the same time, still quite depressed about it.)=
However despite my lack of photos, I think it’ll still take me a while to sift through them all so I shall slowly post them up over time.
